This article argues for the urgent need to integrate a gender perspective into consumer policy and economic frameworks, positing that such an approach is not merely a social imperative but a critical catalyst for sustainable and inclusive economic development.

Women’s consumption behavior is intrinsically linked to their roles as caregivers and household managers.
